Once a message has been delivered to recipients’ phones and emails, it can’t be recalled. However, administrators can use the Hide Thread feature to remove the message's visibility from ReachMyTeach accounts, ensuring families and teachers no longer see it when they log in. This can be particularly helpful for longer messages, as families would be unable to click "Read More" once the message is hidden. The message remains in the system for administrative purposes.
Steps to Remove Message Visibility

Log In as an Administrator
Access your ReachMyTeach admin account. -
Navigate to the "All" Messages View
- Go to your inbox using the "home" icon from your dashboard and to see all communications at your school or district select the "All" tab to view all messages.
- Use the search bar to locate the message by teacher or student name.

You can also search by contact type and school by using the filters on the top and off to the left hand side.

Select the Message
- Click on the message details to see message data.

Use the Hide Thread Feature
- Click "Hide Thread" to remove the message's visibility from family and teacher accounts.
Important Notes
- Hiding does not delete the message. It remains in the system and can be retrieved in the following ways:
- Message Logs: Accessible by administrators for review.
- Search for Hidden Messages: Use the term "Show Hidden" in the search bar to locate hidden messages.
