When you schedule or make an on-demand interpreted call a link to the call will be texted to the guardian to join the conference.
If you are meeting with a student, are meeting in person with a family and do not want to send a message to the family with the link you can schedule an interpreted call by using the students name. This is helpful for when a student is not yet in your SIS, or you are in person with the family or a student!
To start an on-demand interpreted call without sending the family a link or prior to enrollment, click on the Lexikeet icon (the parakeet) in the upper right corner.
Select "General Interpreted Call" and choose the language you want to use. If the language you need isn't listed, you can schedule the call.
If the family isn't with you, enter any contact information you have, such as a phone number. This will send them a link to join the call—no downloads needed. Once that's done, you're ready to begin your call.
