As a parent, it's common to encounter situations where important emails from your child's school or other important sources might not always land where you expect them to. This guide aims to assist you in effortlessly managing such occurrences, ensuring you always stay informed and never miss out on crucial information.
Messages are going to spam
One issues users face is email providers prematurely marking messages as spam, especially school communications. To resolve this issue, users can search for school emails with the domain "@schools.reachmyteach.com" and mark them as not spam. Here are guides for different email providers:
Gmail:
- Login to Gmail: Open your Gmail account.
- Search for School Emails: In the Gmail search bar, type "@schools.reachmyteach.com" (without quotes) and hit Enter. This will display all emails from your school.
- Mark as Not Spam: Find the email you want to mark as not spam. Open it, and click the "Not spam" button near the top. Gmail will move it to your inbox and learn not to mark similar emails as spam in the future.
Outlook (Web/formerly Hotmail):
- Login to Outlook: Log in to your Outlook email account.
- Search for School Emails: In the search bar at the top, enter "@schools.reachmyteach.com" (without quotes) and press Enter. This will show you all emails from your school.
- Mark as Not Junk: Find the email you wish to mark as not junk. Right-click it, then select "Mark as not junk." Outlook will move it to your inbox.
Yahoo Mail:
- Login to Yahoo Mail: Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Search for School Emails: In the Yahoo Mail search bar, type "@schools.reachmyteach.com" (without quotes) and press Enter. This will display school-related emails.

Apple Mail (Mac):
