As an administrator, you can enable other educators in your district to varying level of permissions.
The permissions that can be modified for an educator include granting access to the district or specific grade levels and classes within a school.
Additionally, an educator can be elevated to the "Admin" role, which provides access to all communications within their school or district.
Users can conveniently modify preferences and control how messages are integrated with school email, set out-of-office notifications, and manage your messaging access.
To update a teacher to an administrator being by selecting the student ID Card and choosing "Teacher Contacts"
Next, search for the teacher you would like to elevate, and click the pen and paper icon next to their name.
From there you can determine what permissions you would like to give the educator:
- Admin Permissions:Admin will give that educator access to view all communications in their school or district, depending on their association with a school or the district level.
- Show Grade Groups: will give an educator access to grade level communication within your school. If they are district level they will be able to access all grades.
- Show All Classes: will give them access to every class within a certain school. If they are district level they will be able to access all classes in every school.
- District Access: will give an educator access to the whole district, meaning they will be able to access any family/student in the district. This can be useful for someone like a speech pathologist that works in multiple schools.
- Show Attendance: will give an educator access to attendance reports for the building(s) they are assigned.
- Manage school enrollment will only be available for adjustment for admin who are A+ and at the district level.
- Allow broadcasting: Allows users to have access to sending broadcast messages.
- Allow Lexikeet Access: Allows users to have access to making on-demand and scheduled calls with our pay-as-you-go interpreters through Lexikeet (generally this is an additional contract).
- PTC Admin: if you have parent-teacher conferences on this will allow the user to be an admin of those conferences.
