Sometimes numbers and emails don't work for a variety of reasons. ReachMyTeach always tries to contact all recipients of a message and will login when numbers fail or emails bounce. After, multiple attempts the number or email will be paused and turn red.
Families can also pause incoming messages, which can be unpaused as well.
To download a comprehensive report of unreachable contacts, admin must select the ID card in the upper right and select "Unreachable Contacts"
On that page, admin can search for contacts or download a csv report.
It is important to note that if a contact fails to receive a message through one mode of communication, ReachMyTeach will automatically attempt to send the same message through the other mode. If the email fails, ReachMyTeach automatically sends a text message and vice versa if the phone number fails. If one contact method is working, we use it to reach them. In case of failed contact, you might observe that either the email or the phone number of the recipient is incorrect.
It's possible that only one of their contact details is outdated, but they are still getting and responding to messages.
